~ weSTAMP Make 'n Take ~

This pretty little basket was brought to our meeting last night as a Make 'n Take by one of our lovely members Barbara Welch.

It is so Springy and pretty with its' Stampin' Up! Tea Party Designer Paper, SU pretty in pink ribbon.

Enjoy!

~ Dear Friend ~

This little pretty was duplicated ten times for my weSTAMP monthly Stampin Up meeting swap. It is a variation on the little one that I created for my Monthly Class. I did not have enough of the pretty Stampin Up cameo coral cardstock, so I used SU close to cocoa cardstock as the base.

Enjoy!

~ Saturday Stamping Fun! ~

This coming Saturday, April 25th, 2009 I will be hosting my monthly stamp class. There are three projects planned, two cards and a little 3-D item. They are a surprise until my guests come and make them, until then the rest of you will have to endure the suspense...drum roll...

My dear stamping buddy Anne and I got together for lunch today and she shared her more than forty swap cards that she received in the last month. I took some photos and am so very inspired by all of the wonderful creations that she has in her collection.

That is about it for now...I need to get to work on the samples and cut out some cardstock and get some delicious snacks ready for Saturday...there is still room, so email me if you would like to join us...the more the merrier!

Hope that you are enjoying this wonderful Spring season.

~ Becky's Tote-ally Awesome Tote~

At our previous weSTAMP meeting in March we got together to make this oh so cute Tote and all of the items that go along with it.

Lorri Heilling was the coordinator of this awesome project. We were all busy making our little totes and Lorri was helping us out by cutting and scoring some of the pockets that go on the outside and the inside. She also helped us with stamping the images for us to finish up our cards. We had so much fun at that meeting!

Although I will admit that I am still working on mine, I love this cute little tote very much.

The pattern can be purchased at: www.inkingidaho.blogspot.com. It is Becky Roberts original creation.

Enjoy!

~ Cozy Tea Party Quilt ~

After seeing these pretty quilt cards everywhere on www.splitcoaststampers.com , I wanted to create my very own version.

Some scraps were used and cut into 1" squares and placed at random on a white base. They coordinate with the SU Designer Paper "Tea Party" which I think is just so very pretty. Then I placed it into the Big Shot with the Top Note Die. Also, it is dry embossed with a floral folder to add some texture.

The little bird and sentiment are from Stampin' Up!'s Friends 24-7 stamp set. The sentiment is on a pretty in pink scrap over a SU oval scallop punched piece of chocolate chip paper. The birdie has a little bling for her eye and she and the sentiment are popped up a little using dimensionals.

Hope that you like it!

~ Happy Easter ! ~

Good Morning and Happy Easter to everyone today. This morning I thought that I would just write a little note to thank everyone for being so wonderful so far in joining me, inspiring me and playing together in our stamping and paper crafting adventures.

This time of the year is my absolute favorite, especially here in Arizona the sunny southwest desert. I planted a little herb and perennial garden last year and am totally amazed at how it has grown since. My parsley plant is huge, spreading about 2 1/2 feet across, last year I had barely enough clippings at a time to measure one tablespoon for a recipe. They thyme is creeping and crawling here and there as well as the mint...can you imagine a cool glass of sprite with some mint...oh, on one of those hot summer days...simply heavenly.

Well, that only inspires me to take a photo and post it perhaps soon on here.

Anyway, just wanted to wish you all the very best these days with many Blessings.

Love Always,

~ Linda

~ Butterfly Pretties ~

Hi again! Two posts in one day :-) I visited a new blog at www.thequeensscene.blogspot.com this afternoon and just had to case one of her pretty creations which is pictured above.

It only took about one half an hour to make actually. Sadly, though the pretty papers used are retired now from the Stampin' Up!'s recent Sale-A-Bration promotion.

A friend of mine's birthday is a few days away, so this little pretty may just make it to her.

Love,

~ Linda

~ Tea Party Time ~

~ Tea Party ~

Busy, busy, busy...that is what I have been. Keeping up with swaps, getting ready for my little sister's visit to Phoenix and then heading up to Prescott for a few days.

Here I am in between all kinds of wonderful busy ness...finally today I found the time to share with you my latest creation made especially for my weSTAMP group's monthly meeting swap.

Time to sit down, relax for a little bit, enjoy the beautiful weather here in Phoenix this time of year...there is no place else in the world to be...and sipping a lovely Cup of Tea...my very favorite being "Paris" sold in Williams Sonona stores.

Ok, so a little bit about the above card...it is based on Stampin' Up! Tea Party designer paper and Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge #220. The images are from one of SU's newest additions to their stamp sets "Fifth Avenue Floral". I used a little ribbon slide, so saffron and some Stickles Crystal bling. The yellow strip is the floral Cuttlebug folder and the pink strip is the delicate dots Cuttlebug folder, which I used in my Big Shot machine.

Hope that you enjoy this card as much as I did in making it!

I may not be able to get to post until late next week, as I will be spending time with my real life little sister here in Phoenix.

Love,

~ Linda
