~ Convention '09 Swap ~

This is another swap card that I will be taking with me to Salt Lake City in a few weeks. The base is su kraft cs and I used one of the SU Textured Dies to form the background on SU very vanilla cs. The emblem from the SU set Friends 24/7 was stamped in night of navy ink and mounted onto night of navy cs. A pretty bowed ribbon, SU very vanilla taffeta, was adhered to the top layer along with a little cream colored pearl.

~ Hopping Along ~

The ladies that attend my monthly Class just LOVE making punch cards, so I thought to bring Froggy to life for them. This little guy was inspired by Julia Bettencourt. We merrily punched away and stamped a little background with the Tall Grass Image from the new SU set Autumn Days in craft white ink.

~ Another Class Card...Swap Too! ~

This little pretty is a card that I will be swapping at Convention. I just LOVE the new "In Colors" and this one uses Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry papers along with some winter white cs. The ribbon accent is Rich Razzleberry polka dots. The images are from the SU set Simple Friendship which also has a beautiful butterfly that I hope to ink up pretty soon.

~ Taking a Break to say Hello ~

Hi Everyone,

Has it been two weeks since I posted last? Oh my! Between trying to catch up from vacation, keeping things going here on the home front and getting ready for my very first Stampin' Up! Convention in less than three weeks...I miss sharing some of my fun card projects with everyone.

Anyhoot...the above card is one that we created at Class in my home on Saturday July 11th. I thought that I would use Not Quite Navy, retired Hostess DSP, kraft and winter white papers for this one. It is pretty straightforward and was inspired by my dear friend and teacher Marjori.
