~ Merry Christmas House ~

This Merry Christmas House was made at my weSTAMP Christmas Party! Isn't it darling? Our gracious make and take hostess Rachele Sanclemente organized this project for twenty-five ladies at my upline, Lorri Heilling's home. It was awesome to get to put this oh so cute project together!

From my home to yours...a very Merry Christmas with Peace and Love being the theme throughout the Holiday Season.

Happy Stamping!

~ HOME weSTAMP Gift ~

There are so many wonderful, creative gift ideas out there in blogland that it was almost impossible to narrow it down to one to pull together for my weSTAMP Christmas party this year. When I finally decided, it all came down to creating something that I truly LOVE...and for me, my home is my sanctuary.

The frame was purchased at a local craft store and the papers are all SU...early espresso, crumbcake and very vanilla along with some of our beautiful Jewels Basic Rhinestones.

The flowers were inspired by Diane Dechaine, I learned how to create them at a Dazzling Diva meeting with her assistance, she is the Flower Queen!

Well, that is all for now...I must away and work on a few more gifts and begin decorating my house for Christmas.

Hope that each and every one of you has a Blessed, Joy-Filled and Happy Christmas...until next time...

~ Linda

~ JOY Banner ~

After having created a couple of banners earlier this year, one being a Baby Boy and another one for my darling grandaughters, Keira and Kaely's 2nd  birthday celebration...I needed to come up with a total of 7 gift items to swap at my Dazzling Divas downline Christmas party earlier this month and as you can see, I have been quite busy working my little fingers to the bone...LOL...literally...yes...but I thoroughly enjoyed making each and every one for all of the special ladies in this wonderful group of happy stampers!

Since we have 16 days left before Christmas, I might have to make some more banners...using other words such as LOVE...PEACE...CHIC...well, you know where this is going...all over the place!!!

If anyone has any ideas, I welcome them...simply send me an email to: Lindam530@cox.net

Happy Christmas & Holiday Stamping!

Gingerbread Gift Tag

This time of year so many of us enjoy crafts, decorating and baking...oops...baking...no, not me...LOL. So, instead I decided to make a non-food gingerbread gift tag using Stampin" Up!'s Fancy Flower Extra Large Punch which is available in our IBC on page 200...item # 118073...I like to use ribbons as embellishments and these are retired now, but so pretty when used together...there are several others just like this one just waiting to be tied on some Christmas gifts that I will be sharing with my wonderful family and friends.

Enjoy!

Candy Cane Quilted Christmas

Well, I guess you can say that I got a little carried away with the quilting technique as I just had to make about twenty-five of these little pretties using the color combination of Stampin' Up!'s pretty Candy Cane Christmas designer paper which is complete SOLD OUT now. The pretty colors in this combo are garden green, baja breeze, blushing bride and real red. I used some retires dsp to make the little squares for this card, ran it throught the top note die and the textured impressions square lattice embossing folder to give it the look of fabric.

Enjoy!

~ Quilted Merry Christmas ~

Don't you just LOVE this time of year when we can all cozy up with a blankie and sip our favorite hot drink, mine is tea...and watch TV, read a book, etc. Well, that warm, fuzzy feeling just took over my card making this year and I decided to use our beautiful Stampin' Up! Deck the Halls designer paper and cut 1 1/4 inch pieces, then running it through the Big Shot top note die, then the Textured Impressions Vintage Wallpaper folder to make this quilt card. One of these could also be on its' way to your door as there are at least a dozen circulating the postal system right this very minute!

Enjoy!

~ Christmas Greetings ~

Hi Everyone!

Hope that your Holidays are everything that you could possibly imagine including family, friends, fun and but of course...Stamping!

This card is one of several that I made for sending out to family and friends this Christmas Season. I so LOVE Stampin' Up!'s new cherry cobbler cardstock and especially the pretty designer paper that I used on this little greeting. I made a set of about 15 of these and they are going in the mail today...perhaps one of you will be a lucky recipient!

Merry Christmas & Happy Stamping!

~ Dazzling Divas Swap Card ~

This card displays my favorite Christmas colors. I have to admit I am mostly a traditionalist, but I do also enjoy non-traditional interpretations of holidays.

Another of one of my most enjoyable colors is SU Cherry Cobbler cardstock, which was incorporated into this layered lovely. The Holiday Mini designer paper Deck the Halls is showcased on two segments and some very pretty cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon for adornment along with pretty pearls.

Well, I think that I am just about caught up with my blog entries...I apologize for being so tardy...but I do have a valid reason...the inside of our house was torn apart for about two weeks while it was being painted.
It is all nice and clean, fresh and new and I did not have to do much new decorating except for shuffling around the pictures and wall decor...just about ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

So, I will be quite busy in the next few weeks, as mostly everyone is at this time of the year...I promise to post a few projects that I will be working on.

Until then....Happy Stamping!

~ Linda

~ Christmas Ornament & Flurries ~

The weather has  cooled down considerably here in sunny Phoenix, Arizona and now I yearn to see the snow on the peaks of far off mountaintops either way up north or to the east on the Four Peaks...that will not happen until January usually.

So, I thought to put together a card for our Stamp a Stack class that would bring cool thoughts of winter to each of us while everyone made a set of 5 of these.

The SU Marina Mist cardstock was used as the base and in stamping the ornament image, along with a pretty little ribbon adorning the top of the ornament!

Class was a huge success! I am looking forward to doing a Stamp a Stack sometime next year probably doing Birthday cards and Thinking of you...sometime after Easter!

Enjoy!

~ Linda

~ Peace Love Joy ~

For the first time, I hosted a 10 Card Stamp a Stack class at my home this past Saturday. This is one of the cards that everyone made. I had most of the details prepared beforehand so that everyone just needed to stamp and assemble the cards. They each made 5 of this particular one.

Riding Hood Red is the main color used on this...it is such a soft red and being that I miss our retired Ruby Red, this color does a nice job...what do you think?

Happy Stamping!

~ Linda

~ weSTAMP make n take & My Class Project ~

While browing the blogs of some of my favorite SU demonstrators, I came across Kimberly Van Diepen's tutorial on how to make these oh so cute Santa Hat Treat Holders. They are really quite simple!

I used SU Riding Hood Red cardstock, the SU Petals a Plenty embossing folder and a few other elements to pull this project together!

If I can do it, so can you!

Happy Crafting, Stamping, whatever...LOL!

~ Linda

~ Matching Gift Bag ~

And, of course I made a coordinating gift bag for Barbara to hold one of our (LOL) favorite bottles of wine!

It is so much fun making these designer gift bags and they are really so easy too!

Enjoy!

~ Linda

~ Birthday Card ~

This is a one of a kind card made especially for my dear friend Barbara whose birthday was at the end of October. We eventually got together for lunch the first week of November. She and I believe that we enjoy celebrating our birthdays for however long our friends and family want to send us gifts, cards and whatever else they wish! Wouldn't you agree?

I LOVE this SU Designer Paper Elegant Soiree...the colors are so soft and elegant. I especially LOVE this particular stamp...it has to be my favorite...My Dear Kind and Wonderful Friend.

Enjoy!

~ Linda

Birthday Gift Bag

This gift bag was created for a very special lady friend whose 50th birthday was celebrated the previous Sunday. Inside it I placed a set of hand made cards (what else?) and some girly goodies!

The designer paper used is retired Stampin' Up! I love looking through my scraps and mixing old and new elements together for projects!

Enjoy!

~ Linda

~ Peace on Earth Christmas ~

This card was case'd (copy and share everything) from Sandi McIver's blog. I just LOVE how classy this design and colors come together on this card.

About 20 of these were made, most of them for my weSTAMP monthly swap at our meeting. I still have a few left to send out as Christmas cards for this year.

Enjoy!

Merry & Bright

And, of course my very first Christmas card creation which was inspired by Dawn Olchefske at http://www.dostamping.typepad.com/. I just LOVE the elegant simplicity of this card.

Stamps: Bright Christmas SU Holiday Mini
Ink: riding hood red
Paper: riding hood red, very vanilla, Love Letter DSP
Ribbon: Victoria 5/8" IBC
Access: Petals a Plenty embossing folder, Snowflake Extra Large punch, clear rhinestone brads
Champagne Shimmer Mist (on bottom portion and snowflake)

Currently I am working on a swap for my weSTAMP meeting which is next Tuesday at my dear friend and upline's home, Lorri Heilling...so stay tuned.

Happy Holiday Stamping!

Fall Lolly Flower

Earlier this year when I attended the Stampin' Up! Convention, I obtained a prototype of this little creation via a 3-D swap. It holds a little Dum Dum lolly in the middle and serves as the stem for the flower.

The flower part is created using the Stampin' Up! Sizzix Originals Blossom Party die. These would make really cute little "Treats" for the little ghosts, ghoblins and ghouls that greet us on our doorsteps on All Hallows Eve.

Enjoy!

Wicked Halloween Class Card

At one of the earlier gatherings of the Dazzling Divas, everyone participated in a shoebox swap and my dear friend Barbara chose this little darling for us to play with! Isn't she cute!

When my class saw this little pretty, they asked to make it at our next event and here it is with a few little alterations to Barbara's original. Don't you just LOVE the little skirt made with Stampin' Up!'s 1/2" Raven Trim Laced item # 120988? It can be found in our current Holiday Mini Catalog.

Hope that you are enjoying the cooler temps and Fall weather where you live.

Happy Stampin'

A Kind Heart

Kindness comes in many forms but always from the heart. This sentiment is one of four from a Stampin' Up! set that I am very fond of, Heart from the Heart item # 111644 from the SU Idea Book & Catalog 2010-2011.

This card was inspired by Diana Gibbs' September to Remember event where there were several cards using the very items that I incorporated into this easel card.

I brought a few of these little lovlies to the Dazzling Divas monthly downline meeting for our swap.

Enjoy!

~Linda

Fall French Foilage

This is such a pretty stamp set for Fall or Thanksgiving card making. While my DH and I were away in California on vacation at the end of September, I brought this set with me to make my swaps for my
weSTAMP monthly meeting. Funny thing though, I have this in the clear mount style and I forgot to bring along a block...no problem though...I stamped anyway! LOL

It was inspired by a card very similar but I seem to have misplaced all of that information, so if anyone knows the origin, please let me know and I will most certainly give full credit where it is due.

Happy Stamping!

Minnie Mouse Birthday Card

Here is a Birthday Card that I created for the girls, everything for them is X 2...so, of course, I made two of them!

Enjoy!

~ Linda

Keira & Kaely's 2nd Birthday!

Being that I am now an experienced Pennant Banner creator, well I just had to make one for my two favorite little girls in the entire world...Keira & Kaely...my twin grandaughters!

The banner papers that I used were retired SU pixie pink, basic black and glossy white cardstock.

Everything for their birthday was themed Minnie & Mickey mouse, do any of you remember The Mickey Mouse Club House? I do...and now I get to re-live my second childhood through the eyes, ears and heart of these adorable little ladies.

Hope that you enjoy this!

Happy Labor Day Weekend Everyone!

~ Baby Boy Banner ~

Hi Everyone!

As I mentioned in my previous post, weSTAMPers celebrated a Baby Shower for one of our very own.

I got this idea in my head to create a Baby Boy banner using Stampin' Up's! Big XL Pennant Die. I did some research as this was my first attempt in doing so. It went together pretty easily once I got started and this is the end result! I used SU Bashful Blue cardstock as the base, isn't it soft and pretty? The dsp is non SU as is the ribbon.

Now I am in the process of creating one for my twin grandaughters 2nd birthday, which is TODAY!
So, I need to get going here and give that some finishing touches, because I paln to visit with them today to help my son and daughter-in-law celebrate their Blessed occasion and shower Keira and Kaely with grandma kisses and hugs!!!

Enjoy your day!

~ Linda

weSTAMP Swap Card ~ Baby

Hi Everyone!

Hope that you are enjoying your day today!

This is the card that I created for my monthly weSTAMP meeting, except that this one was extra special. One of our members, Pam is pregnant and due around November 1st. Our organizer and my upline Lorri Heilling turned our meeting into a baby shower for Pam...it was sooooooooo much FUN!

Everyone participated by bringing food, decorations, gifts and we had a wonderul time spoiling our mommy-to-be. She is going to have a bouncing baby boy!

This card is called a Side Step Dresser and I found a great tutorial by Jackie Topa on her blog at: http://www.jackietopa.typepad.com/. I had to make two versions of course, one for a boy and another for a girl.

Hope that you like them!

~ 2011 Altered Calendar ~

These are the calendars that you can get at Michael's and I just LOVE to personalize them as little giftables!

I made two of these for some friends whose birthdays I will be celebrating with them tomorrow!

The Greenhouse Gala SU designer paper was used for these and the NEW Friends Never Fade stamp set.

For the coming week, I will be working on my weSTAMP swaps and a couple of other projects that need my attention...until then...I hope that you enjoy each and every day and make some time for Stamping :)

Love & Blessings,

~ Linda

~ Class Project ~ Just Believe ~

We made this card from the NEW stamp set "Just Believe" in class this month. The original idea came from a Make and Take that I did at Convention this year.

The girls wanted to learn how to watercolor with stamps and I thought that this would be a perfect example to teach them (and myself too...LOL).

Enjoy!

~ Linda

~ Saturday Morning Stamp Cafe Class Projects ~

This is a little nail file holder. We made these at our monthly class and not only can you put nail files in these cute little holders, but you can put pencils, pens, candy canes, pixie sticks and anything you can think of that
would fit and you can change the colors and designer paper and add any type of embellishment to suit the purpose. Just make sure that you use extra sticky, tacky tape to hold it, especially on the bottom.

Isn't the NEW Daffodil Delight cardstock pretty and bright? It matches our NEW Greenhouse Gala designer series paper too!

For Convention, I made about 30 of these for my 3-D swaps because they were compact and easy to pack in my suitcase.

Enjoy!

~ Linda

~ Saturday Morning Stamp Cafe Class Projects ~

Just had to make another card with the Morning Cup stamp set from SU, one to share with my class buddies. I cased this bright and lively card from Cindy Beach, her original can be found on Stampin Connection...thank you Cindy!

Enjoy!

~ Linda

~ Morning Cuppa ~

When the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog came out earlier this year, I could not help but contain myself when I saw this brand new stamp set for tea and coffee lovers set! It is one of the first ones that I ordered and I just LOVE it!

The colors that I used on this care baja breeze, blushing bride and very vanilla. I really like how these two colors go together, they are so soft and complementary.

And the new punch featured is a sneak peak from our upcoming Holiday Mini, which you will NOT want to miss...it is the best one ever! Actually, I won this punch at Convention this year...I knew that I was going to order it, but I was so happy to have it in my hot little hands a few weeks before everyone else!

This card was made for a swap for the Dazzling Divas, an upline group which is led by my dear friend and stamping buddy Barbara Welch.

Hope that you like this one!

Enjoy!

weSTAMP Swap ~ Catalog Case

For my monthly upline meeting with my weSTAMP group we were asked to CASE a catalog item and change a few things about it...therefore I chose this card which can be found on page 69.

I chose to change the elements on the Top Note Die...I love the Top Note Die and use it almost every chance that I get....maybe some of you have noticed this :)

Hope that you like it!

Happy Stamping!

~ Explosion Purse Giftable ~

Ever since I first came across an explosion box, I have wanted one. When I found this version ~ An Explosion Purse~ You guessed! I did the Happy Dance! I must apologize, that I am not able to locate the website where I first came upon this idea, so if someone out there recognizes this, please let me know and I will be more than happy to credit the wonderful person that originated this creation.

On top of it all, I was trying to come up with a giftable that would travel well to Convention and yes! You guessed right again! I made 10 of these little cuties for the group of ladies that I spent much of my time with while soaking up all of the fun activities and adventures of this past years' SU Convention.

It uses only one full sheet of 12 X 12 cardstock and you can customize it with designer paper to your liking.

Paper: SU basic black, SU dsp Night & Day (retired), SU whisper white, SU real red
Access: bone folder, score tool, SU large scallop circle die SU top note die, SU scallop punch, SU corner rounder punch, SU winter white satin ribbon, SU rhinestone brads, SU butterfly punch, SU rhinestones, velcro (for closure)

Until next time...Happy Stampin'!

Ink: black stazon, cherry cobbler, early espresso, crumb cake
Paper: cherry cobbler, early espresso, very vanilla
