~ Shabby Chic Fabric Flower Brooch ~

Yesterday I went to Jo Anne's and found some very pretty material that is usually used for making quilts. I love pretty fabric! This morning being that I was soooooo very inspired by my weSTAMP meeting last night...all of the swaps were FANTASTIC!!!...I just had to make this shabby brooch to wear...It is spritzed with some champagne shimmer mist, if you look very closely, sorry that it does not show well here...I am so into pink right now...must be that time of the year...Valentine's...

Hope that you have a happy day stamping, paper crafting and enjoying your hobby, whatever it may be!

Thanks for visiting!

This little box is the perfect size to hold one of those lovely Fabric Flower Brooches and it was made to hold the one that I shared with you in my previous post.

I will share a little secret with you...it looks like we will be making these in our next Saturday Morning Stamp Cafe on Saturday February 12th...with butterflies on top!

It will be my First Year Anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! Hope that you can attend and celebrate this with me!

Thank you for visiting!

~ Birthday Fabric Flower Brooch ~

This fabric flower brooch was made for my bestest stampin' buddy Anne. It was her birthday recently and I found some pretty material that I knew she would love, so I decided to make one of these especially for her...I think she liked it :)

Our third card projected created some excitement when I asked the ladies to "punch his eyes out"...LOL...and they did!

This little cutie was a total case (copy and share everything) from a card that I just had to make, not only one for myself, but also ended up being made at class. I would very much like to acknowledge Paula Curtis @ www.dostamping.typepad.com for her clever imagination in creating this kangaroo full of Love. You can go to her blog for more information. The SU ribbon used is real red striped grosgrain (item # 110714 and can be found in the 2009-2910 SU Idea Book and Catalog.

The Happy Valentine's Day sentiment is from the SU Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (item # 115370).

Thank you for visiting!

Enjoy!

~ I {Heart} Hearts ~

This little pretty was made with the new and very beautiful stamp set I {Heart} Hearts from the new SU 2010 Occasions Mini catalog (item # 117010). The base is SU Melon Mambo cardstock stamped with several hearts as a background from the same set. The sentiment Love You Much is from the stamp set Well Scripted which is also from the SU 2010 Occasions Mini catalog (item # 117072). The underlayer is SU in color soft suede spritzed with the Champagne shimmer mist that I spoke of in the previous entry.

Hope that you like it!

Enjoy!

~ Garden From the Heart Calendar ~

Our Saturday Morning Stamp Cafe went very well. There were nine ladies in attendance and I demonstrated the new use for Stampin' Up!'s shimmer paints which are still available held over from the 2009 Holiday Mini Catalog. I mixed about 4 drops of Champagne shimmer paint into a little hand sanitizer spritz bottle with .25 oz of solution and sprayed some cardstock...I felt like I was back at the recent Phoenix SU Regionals...when all of the ladies "oooooed and ahhhhhed" over my brief demo.

We made an Easel Card with a calendar which I totally case'd from my wonderful upline Lorri Heilling. We used the Cottage Garden designer series paper and rich razzleberry cardstock along with the new Garden From The Heart stamp set (Item# 118568) in the Mini Occasions catalog along with the sentiment which reads "Every Day Holds the Possibiliy of a Miracle" from the Peace Within stamp set which can be found in the Idea Book and catalog.

Enjoy!

~ Stampin" Up! Steps Up to Aid Haiti ~

On January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, leaving in its wake devastation so overwhelming that the Haitian people and their leaders can only look for help from the outside to cope. As a Stampin′ Up! customer, you can help make a difference in the lives of those who continue to suffer from the effects of this earthquake by purchasing, the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set.

From now until February 28, 2010, $2 from every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set you purchase will be donated to the American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. I will match your purchase with $2 for each set purchased. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

Product Name Item # Price

I {Heart} Hearts- clear mount 118571 $18.95
I {Heart} Hearts - wood-mount 117010 $26.95

In the past, when terrorists attacked the Twin Towers, when a tsunami struck Indonesia, when a hurricane destroyed New Orleans, and when wildfires ravaged Australia, Stampin′ Up! demonstrators have stepped forward and showed their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. This time is no different.

The corporate team of Stampin' Up! has already been getting to work with the relief effort. In addition to donating a portion of sales, Stampin' Up! bought supplies for 5,000 hygiene kits to be sent to the Haitian people. The Stampin' Up! Distribution Center in Riverton, Utah has been turned into a huge assembly line.

Thank you for your love and support. Together we will make a difference.

~ Highlight of Phoenix SU Regionals ~

Hi Everyone!

This photo is the absolute best memento of my participation in the 2010 Phoenix, Arizona Stampin' Up! Regional event which took place yesterday, Saturday,January 9th right here in my home town.

After all of the fun, excitement, learning and inspiration that took place, my fellow weSTAMPers and myself thought that it might be a great thing if we asked our Queen Bee, Shelli Gardner, SU's CEO and founder, if she wouldn't mind taking a photo with us. She graciously acknowledged our request.

From left to right are my fellow weSTAMPers: Rachele SanClemente, Melissa Sunde, Lorri Heilling, Shelli Gardner, me ;), Jennifer Curtis, Linda Bickley and Patti Galegher.

My head is packed with so many ideas that I cannot wait to share them with my stamping friends at our next meetup on Saturday, January 23rd at my home!

Happy Stampin'!
